All of the treatments I offer, including organic holistic facials include massage. Clients tell me they have a massage for all sorts of reasons such as:
- Aching shoulders
- Backache
- Painful neck
- To reducing stress / manage anxiety
- Insomnia
- Headaches
After a massage or a treatment with me, you should feel a sense of well-being. Many of my clients say they feel taller, looser, straighter, less achy, and relaxed or rejuvenated. You may find that your skin is glowing (due to improved circulation).
By adding aromatherapy essential oils you also bring additional benefits (Click here for more info on Aromatherapy).

Frequently asked questions
What is my style of massage?
I work holistically and eclectically with influences of Swedish massage, acupressure and eastern massage and hands free massage techniques. I can provide light pressure or deep tissue massage – we work with what feels right for you on the day.
How often should you have a massage?
In an ideal world we would all have one once a week, because people see more benefits when they have them regularly. Most people have one once every 2-4 weeks.
What can I expect?
The first time I see someone I do an initial FREE confidential consultation. This includes a full medical history and questions about your general well-being. Thereafter it’s important that you mention any changes in your health and well-being however small they may seem. Your massage will be tailor made for you at each appointment, according to your preferences and time of day. You will be covered in towels to afford privacy at all times, the only part of you not covered is the area I am massaging. It is essential you wear underwear. If you are having a facial you will also have a free skincare consultation.
What about after my massage?
After your massage drink plenty of water, try to relax or avoid stressful situations, avoid caffeine and alcohol. If it is a sunny day, remember you will be covered in oil so be safe in the sun and cover up with sun cream before exposure. Some essential oils are photo toxic. If you have an aromatherapy massage this will be explained to you.
Do you do pregnancy massage?
Yes! It’s important for Mum’s to be to look after themselves during this special time. During pregnancy many women find that they may have backache, puffy ankles, difficulty sleeping etc. and a massage may help with this. I am unable to do massage for anyone in their first trimester, and will ask some questions about this pregnancy and others you have had, before I see you. On occasion I may need to liaise with midwives and others involved in your care. I can also provide post natal massage (after your 6 week check).

Do you offer Corporate Massage?
Yes! Most people enjoy a massage. To have one whilst fully clothed at work is simple and easy. Staff feel the benefits immediately, and will often say their necks, backs and shoulders, feel looser and lighter. This may help with the aches and pains postural problems that are created by working at a PC, and creates a feeling of well-being at work. It may be a regular occurrence, or a one off e.g. during a well-being at work week or as a thank you at the end of a project.
What are the benefits to employers?
Employers benefit in the following way:
– It saves thousands of pounds each year by both reducing absenteeism from ill health and increasing performance at work if done regularly
– Staff illnesses such as RSI, aching neck, shoulders and back, headaches from PC work, and conditions that may be stress related such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome or insomnia may be improved, reduced or diminished by the effects of regular massage. This creates a healthier workforce
– It’s cost effective (from as little as £10 per person)
– It’s a healthier reward than cakes or meals out
– Staff feel the benefits immediately and appreciate it
